Preferred Charger thread

Figured i would go ahead and make a thread of what charger you like. It's a great way for me to see what i should get also.

Ive got this one and from what I can see (and have heard) it is the same charger that other companies use, put a different housing on it and sell it for 100-160$. Except this one has an AC inverter built in it, and many of those dont. Ithink I spent $55 on it, so far I love it! Been using it for over a year.

I ended up getting the hyperion Ac/DC EOS0606iAD-c

It was kind of like a "swiss army knife" of chargers and had a balancer for the lipo's.

More than double. Your link has the AC6 at $55, which is what I think I paid for mine. I googled the HP and it came up at $190.

I paid $100 for mine, but there was kind of a reason.....

The guy that owns/runs the local RC hobby store is a super nice guy and pretty young. Don't think he understand fully the whole profit/loss thing because he sells most of the items i have gotten from him at cost, plus he always has offered to help work on my truck for free. So for this one item i decided to go ahead and pull the trigger and buy from him since he hasn't made a dime off me on other purchases.

Went with this recommendation and aside from the lack of user manual, its a great buy. Very happy with charger

I went with a Hyperion myself. I did a lot of research, reading alot of threads on RCCrawler.com and since I decided to go with a lipo for my Honcho and my wife has NiCads for her Stampede, it seemed like a good choice.

Thus far I have been very happy with it and I have found that, as stated above, it is a swiss army knife of the battery chargers.
