I found this locker called Powertrax when I was looking at lockers and wondered which part # for the HZJ 73? Has anyone had any problems with them or are they a good product?:beer:

Hi All:

Are you referring to the Powertrax Lockrite automatic locker? If so then you want the model for 30 spline Land Cruiser applications (IIRC model 1630.)

These work fine, just be sure that the air pressure is keep equal in both tires on the axle, and do not accelerate after taking a corner until the turn is complete.

Regards,

Alan

Hi All:

Humm . . . . consider the Aussie Locker. It is a copy of the Lockrite, and a little bit cheaper (US$270 plus shipping.) I have experience with both of these auto lockers.

Aussie Lockers: Lockers, aussie lockers, torq-masters technology, automatic positive locking differentials, automatic precision locker differentials, off road, off-road

If it would help, you can have it shipped to my house in Seattle and I can mail it to you in B.C.

Regards,

Alan

Powertrac 1630 $335 :clap::beer: Summit online catalog.

The Powertrax Lockrights have proven to hold up the best when it comes to lunchbox drop-in style lockers. We have used some of the knock off out there, but too many warranty's so we only carry the Powertrax lockright for this type of locker. Of coarse there are many other options, Auburn LSD, Japanese HD clutch LSD, Detroit Locker, ARB locker, Mini Spool, etc. It depends on your useage and budget.

PT 1630
I have them on the shelf. Another plus is, since there small, We can ship a pair to canada for $35 via USPS priority, to canada no brokerage like with UPS.
