I have a power steering set-up from an old FJ75 Does anyone have any advice or warnings about putting power steering on my FJ73? Are there issues that I should worry about?

Well, the first thing I think *might* be an issue is whether the truck the power steering bits came from has the steering wheel on the same side as your FJ73.

Yes, on the same side and it worked on the other truck just fine. Basically I am wondering if it is just a bolt-off and bolt on affair?

Does your FJ73 have P/S? As long as you have the complete kit it will be ok.
(I plugged a HZJ75 pump and hoses into a FJ73 steering box and it worked like it was there from the factory)
You say the parts are from "an old FJ75" The pump could be 22 years old and be in need of a rebuild.
If you have any problems I have pics of my FJ73 P/S pump and brackets,in fact I have the whole set up
