Power steering!

I currently have a chevy 350 small block in my toyota. so when i did the started the swap the guy before me had pulled the 22re from the truck but he didnt bother to save the power steering set up so now just have the brake box on the one side the steering box on the other. when i try and turn the wheel it makes this terrible screeching sound. i double checked to make sure it was high pressure to high pressure and low pressure to low pressure. i have had 2 different pumps set up in it and they both do the same thing. any ideas on what the problem might be?

Mine(stock pump) made screeching type noises when it had air mixed in with the ATF.

try turning the wheel from stop to stop a few times and see if it helps.
