Total price: 25-50 at you pull yards in colorado, I have done two conversions

--------------

IFS means the Hy-steer option.

High steer parts
new style box ( ifs truck)
ps pump
all the hoses
bracket to mount pump to the engine

cut the tower off the front axle and clean it up.

Same 25-50 plus the hy-steer parts, have this on an 83 crawler.

does anyone know what i might need to swap over my steering componants from push/pull to ifs steering on my 80 model pickup?

OK, you want to go from manual p-p (stock) steering
to power IFS steering?

The IFS box is used for x-over steering conversions.

If so you need a x-over steering kit (AllPro, Marlin, etc), power IFS steering box, the hoses, PS pump and mounting brackets, and PS resevoir.

If you mean you want to keep the stock p-p steering you need the same stuff but a stock type PS box.

Where exactly do the hoses go on push pull box, I can't seem to see any in mine. I see what looks like a breather up top.

Either PS box, p-p or IFS type has ports for 2 hoses.

One hose (low pressure return) goes to the resevoir.
The other (high pressure) goes to the PS pump.
Another hose goes from the resevoir to the pump.
