power steering reservoir

Does anyone have a power steering reservoir from a bj60 where its mounted on top of the pump? I wanna know if I can just switch it with my bj70 style remote one as my turbo is too close to where I was going to mount mine.

No, with remote reservoir the pump has to be lower, cause it uses gravity.

But if I switch the reservoir to the top mounted kind won't it be higher then the pump....

In the dim recesses of my brain, I remember switching between res on the same pump.

I used a minitruck res , and it was the same idea, just pushes in and the seal is an o-ring.

Only issue was that the little tab with bolt that keeps it from popping off was in a different spot, so I had to do some adjusticating with the zip cut and welder.

And yeah, too lazy to go look at the one in the shed for ya.

Steve i used a mini truck res and it bolted nicely on the top o the inner fender with the original brackets. A slight tweek of the brackets was needed.

I was thinking if I could just use the one from the bj60 that was mounted on top of the pump it'd be nice and simple... and I could avoid routing another hose through my engine bay... and around my turbo. Also my pump is mounted higher then my fender ... (top of 3b engine)
