Hi all more experienced than I. Was wondering opinions upon whether removing and draining the lower power steering hard line would be a less messy way to drain/flush the system? Whilst the wheels are up (engine off), can lock them each way to get the last bit of fluid out of the pump. Pull out the reservoir and clean inside that too..
I have done by the factory guide, but geez it makes a mess .
Has anyone done the flush without getting fluid flying everywhere?
Would like to hear if anyone has devised a method better than the factory guide. Watched 'toyotatimmy' guy flush, but still makes a mess and it is still somewhat a cumbersome method.
