Power steering box and accessories

Just letting you guys know before I post it up on craigslist and ebay I have a power steering box, frame bracket,drag link,fluid lines,pump,and engine bracket(22re if needed) from an 84 solid axle truck......I hear(from Tom)that these can be retrofitted onto a 40 to get power steering so maybe someone local will want em $125 takes it all (the donor truck has 152k on it) LET ME KNOW..........Brian
 
Steering

I did mine too, only I used the Saginaw pump, either way it's the best money you can spend as once you have it, turnng corners or parking will be something you enjoy.

I have a spare oil cooler for it too if you need one, easy to mount.

The worst bit is grinding or sawing the heads off of the rivets holding the original steering box in place, once you have doned that, a swift whack with a hammer and the rest is dead easy.

You might think about gettting a new rag joint (the flexible coupling between the steering box and the steering column), it may help reduce any play you have in the steering.
