I have a 79-83 mini pickup power steering in my 78 fj40. I'm trying to tighten the play I have in the box. I've loosened the side nut and turned in the screw considerably with minimal adjustment. I probably have around 7/8 of an inch of free play and it still feels a little sloppy. Do you guys think it needs a rebuild or a sector adjustment? I've never adjusted the sector gear part. Thank you.
