Power Grid down = kaboom!

Just a quick note....just off a YM with Ryko, and the server location had a grid crash at about 11:15a pacific time....it took some time for them to rekick everything, but it's back up again...

I'm ordering a UPS for the db server tomorrow, should all but eliminate future problems with power outages...and I'm sizing it properly so when the 3rd/image server is added later this year, it can handle the load.

also, for the few folks who sent me emails, thanks....I do appreciate those....

Interestingly, everytime a db error occurs, I get an email notification as well...from 11:15a until ~1p pacific, that amounted to nearly 7200 emails....

Whatever it was it was big, I saw the power droop over here, maybe two miles away from the servers. Only about half of our PC's re-booted.

In Reno during the thunder storm season a UPS is a good thing.
