Has any one tried to get their rims powder coated? I am thinking about getting my alloys powder coated black or gun metal. I have black steel wheels now but my alloys come in on tues.

powder coated rims look awesome.....but you WILL scratch them if you go offroad at all and touchup on powdercoat sucks, since finding a spray-paint to match is a PITA....
The dealership where I bought my FJC had the stock wheels done to match the VD Blue, and the shade was different so they had them for sale cheap. I guess my advice is be careful what you ask for. I had great sucess matching factory accessories when powder coating my bumpers.
