Powder Coated 18" OEM Wheels

Just had the 18" alloy stock wheels on my truck powder coated matte black.

Had a mechanic put the truck on the rack, remove the tires, and keep it there while i got them powdercoated. Did the whole thing in 6 hours. Nothing to it.

Had the center caps (which are plastic) spray painted with a paint matched to the powder coating.

Love the way it turned out!

Thanks, they were in direct sunlight when i snapped the after pic on the ground. A buddy of mine did the work, did all of them for $100.

Nice. I've been thinking about doing similar, although there's a local shop in town that will do minor ding repair--PO left me a little rash--and painting for very cheap. But if I could find a shop to powdercoat for that price...

Looks awesome. I have a white LX and want it to look just like that - did you have the grille powder coated too or did you do that separate?

I did it separate. It's plastic, so can't be powder coated.
