Possible to use mini truck steering to a 55 power upgrade???

Howdy all,

I recently picked up a '80 front axle (complete) for a brake swap on my 1969 55.
I am also installing a Scout power steering set up and thought I would search for something along those lines for previous installs with a mini truck axle...
I searched here and another popular forum but no luck. Probably means that it isn't possible but thought I would ask before I continue on.
I have the Scout box mounted forward on the front frame/drivers side. I am BLM trail person but no rock crawling or oversize tires for me... At least in the near future.

mini truck axles are not a good swap unless you are swapping the entire powertrain to something smaller, much lighter and less torquey.
