Can anyone help in locating a red fj40 that has not been seen since Toys For Tots in December of 08. Last seen on a trailer heading north from Attica Indiana along with another "abused" multi color 40 with IH*MUD stickers on it. The red fj40 is registered as a 76 but is basically a pile of misc. parts that have been pieced together to form a running cruiser.
I am hoping someone can let me know the whereabouts so I can get it back. It is missed and needed. All of this web only wheeling has gone to my head. I need to do the real thing.

Any help or leads would be great.

Goebs

ps. I think it is in the Appleton area. Beer reward availible...

drove it today, started and ran great...left rear was a tad low tho, may wanna check that...

I leave Thurs for MO and then UT but would be more than happy to deliver early in May...maybe we can arrange a meeting at the Cliffs...

I like beer

Good stuff! I figured one of your buds would chime in and give you some sh-t.
Let me know when you are back and I'll take a trip up to you to get it. Might need to stay over night and see Appleton or head further north to the cabin.
Where is the thing these days? Should I run up and grab it to get it out of the way?
Ring when traveling, we'll catch up. Enjoy your trip!

not in the way at all...it's been sitting on the gooseneck in Jon's fenced in storage area, and is now sitting next to my little trailer in that same area

I'd be up for a cabin run....was informed today we may be up camping in that area over the entire week before July 4th too :)

We should be up there for the 4th. Depending on where you plan to be and how many...we can talk about camping at the lake.... bring your cruiser and play on some rocks, otherwise just camp. Where is the key to the cruiser? If I get a chance to run up while you are gone, is it around or at Jim's shop? Not sure if that's his name but thought so. Guessing it may not hapen, but bored and want to tinker with it.

We'll talk when you are dead tired and somewhere between here and Utah!

Heather's family has a cabin by Armstrong Creek and other family that keeps a trailer at McCaslin...she was talking about staying at one of those, or getting a tent site somewheres around one of those...again, I'm not in charge of that week plan

we'd be up for the entire week prior I think...and definitely planning on bringing the 40 up to do some light wheelin (maybe both rigs, have to see)

Jon's....call me and I'll get you his number and the addy (he's organizing the yard next week and has the key in the shop so he can move the rig if needed- but knowing him, that'll never happen....and the yard gate is locked, so he'd have to be there to open it)

I should be back about the 4th or 5th and could easily meet you 1/2 way too....Lomira or something (good excuse to gun shop if we meet in Lomira....and do lunch...)

course, I'd like a good excuse to wheel the Cliffs in May too...

Woody it is nice of you to cover for me but I can take it. Goebs, it's in my garage. The wifey likes it a lot and is claiming posession is 9/10's of the law so. Sorry, thanks for all the hard work on it.

:flipoff2:

Not a problem in the least. Kind of like eminant domain. If you use something long enough, it should be yours!

Glad to hear it is in a garage. My biggest problem is storage so that sure helps!!!!!!!

Woody and I were talking about a plan to get the thing. Might be a trip up there and some beers. Hope you can join us if that happens.

By the way, please feel free to bring your wife's new red fj40!
