I have a stripped 82 4x4 frame of course with solid axle, and I have the chance to pick up a 1997 Tacoma (2wd) with the 3.4L v6. Anyone ever mounted a tacoma onto a older solid axle frame? I would have to bob the bed, and come up with a new tranny and tcase, anything else needed? I know i could just do the SAS, but I want to go with the older frame because it is 99 inch wheelbase vs the 115 inch wheelbase.
