Was bouncing this arroud with Charles (aka Hawkeye) looking at going to big bear the weekend of the June 5,6 and 7... Going up friday night and leave Sunday. Planning on taking the kids and just getting away...

The date is really open, if you have one that works better throw it out..

Looking at camping at crab flats (and NO I am not taking the trailer in there again... :hillbilly::hillbilly::hillbilly:)

You going to need reservations? I might be a last minute kind of thing. My golf clubs have been missing me lately.
 
I will see you there Ray. Im going to be there all three days. Id like to hit some near by... So somone that know the trails better come up. Its funny I live 45 minutes away and Ive only been up there twice. I looking forward to this, it has been to long since Ive been camping.
 
Crab Flats is nice if you are planning on bringing ATV's or bikes...But can get very dusty and such this time of year with the TON of people down there. You might want to try the campground at Green Valley Lake and then just drive down to Deep Creek or Crab Flats....Just a thought. We were in GVL last weekend and took the bikes (XR400 / CRF230) down there and there were a MILLION people....No fun!
 
ok anyone have another location???? maybe we could avoid some people.. Dave???
 
I hate to do this but something has come up with work and I dont know if this weekend is going to work, Job ressignment and I may have to move, will know more soon... but for now my wheeling and camping is on hold... I have some stuff arround here at home I have to finish fast..... sorry guys...
