Poss bad Shocks (1 Viewer)

Took out the front shocks and compressed them and there was no resistance. They just push in real fast and pull out hard. Are they bad? I already ordered new ones if they are.

I'm not sure I would say those shocks are bad. What if they were something wierd like 400/40 valving where compression was almost non-existant (40) and extension was nasty stiff (400)?
