Portola area

Im sure everyone has their own projects to work on but I will be headed to Portola this weekend to continue work on mine if anyone is in that area and wants to come supervise or turn a wrench reach out we will likely work most of the day Saturday. The mechanic helping me with the build takes Sunday off for church ie. fishing lol! His shop is 4 miles past portola in the town of Maybe. Plan is to fire it this weekend

Good luck w/ the first fire!!

Super exciting time
I had a party at my house for the occasion. Invited everyone!! I DID NOT to a pre run, so it was a TOTALLY "virgin" firing.
Ran for about 30 sec, died and couldn't get it started again!!!
Found out I had ONE SINGLE WIRE that cut power to the ECU when I tried to fire the motor.
Swapped a wire and she ran like she'd been running for years!!
Can't wait to hear how it goes!!

Ya I'm crossing my fingers the motor was built in a shop in Scottsdale almost 5 yrs ago and has never been run we turn it every couple weeks but still a little concerning! The fuel injection system is all brand new and the wiring harness so assuming the compression is good I think it should go well last thing to do will be to take it to someone and have exhaust put on it any recommendations??
