Scout 2 Saginaw box fully rebuilt By Matt at West Texas and ported for hydro assist.

I am switching to full hydraulic and wil not need this any more.

$200 plus shipping..

Doh! Disregard, totally missed the word "Scout" - Sorry.

I'll take it if it's the same as my POS AGR 4-bolt metric gear. Can you verify 4-bolt, input dia. and spline count, and sector shaft dia. and spline count. Has to be metric o-ring.

Otherwise it's gonna cost me $275 to have PSC rebuilt what AGR sold as new and never really worked right...

It is a scout 2 box.. Probably not the same as your AGR box..

If I'm correct, the scout 2 mounts outside the frame just like the FJ60. The AGR boxes I've seen mount like a GM box inside the frame in front of the axle.

Hey I thought I might be the only one exploring being gay by having a myspace? I have a friend I am helping with a V8 swap and SOA and double boxes from Advance adapters who could be very interested in this box. So am wondering if you have it still and do you know the cost of the other parts needed to complete the system for the hydro assist? Also if he can only afford the box now is it possible to run just basic power steering and add the hydro assist later?

you would need a steering column extension and a U joint.

Yes, I have the caps to plug off the hydro assist ports for use later.

For hydro assist, all you would need is the lines and a 1.5 x 6" ram (typical) and some lines..
