Pretty easy to swap the contacts and solenoid plunger. It’s about $10 vs $300 for the starter.
That was my initial thought. I bought a new starter for $125 from Yota shop and will rebuild the old one. Problem is the connector n the old starter is broken on one side. So, no go...... It appears to be a newer plug they use for whatever reason. You’d think yota shop would include the new plug since they know what year your truck is. Whatever. I need to forget about logic. Of course its what 1pm in Washington and no one answers the phone. FFS. Maybe have to just rig it wiht a blade connector so I can move the truck out of the shop.
