pull codes?..... Midas.

yeah, but i eventually want to go somewhere that specializes in 4x4 repairs and is familiar with the cruizer and its possible quirks.
thanks for the tip

Which is it? pull codes? or know cruisers? they are mutually exclusive! The only place you will find people who know all the intricicies of a cruiser is around the camp fire.

Sorry i wish I had an easy answer for you. The only shop I would trust is Tom at TNT4x4 in marseilles IL.

Tom can work on cruisers, he owns several including 80's. Is he a walking cruiser geek? no. But he can do the work. What im trying to say is this is Chicago every licenced shop is going to tell you whatever "the book" says about your "land rover" or "Jeep" or what ever they mistake it for. The local guys who really know cruisers are hobbyists. We have all learned the old fashioned way, experiment on our junk and bug the hell out of Gumby:flipoff2:

and no i dont consider my self a cruiser geek, im a mini truck geek
