pitman arm nut size

I'm getting ready to tear down the steering gear box on the girlfriend's 60... What size is that nut holding the pitman arm? God knows I don't want to make multiple trips to the store to exchange wrenches.

32mm. An 1 1/4 socket will also do the trick.

Thanks Mango... That beats the hell out of spending $20 bucks for the wrong socket.

You will also need a pitman arm puller. If you can't get one and you are removing the box from the truck then you can also take it to your local mechanic and get them to press it off for you. If it is original then it will be very, very tight and may even need some heat. I'm sure you'll find it on a thread here somewhere.
