I posted a reply in an old thread from 2008, but I'll ask again here... Is there any way to check the current status of the road? Thinking of driving from Pioneertown up the easy 2N02 tomorrow. Will probably be some snow leftover from last week. Any advice?

Call National forest agency in San Bernardino! They can give you the answer you need.
Also call a local TLC club. Like Socaltlca.

The trail was fairly was just not sure how it is now after some rains and snow.
