What is going on lately with the prices of our beloved pigs? I own a 40 as well and thought about adding to the heard. It appears that big money has come to play and ruin it for he rest of us just like the VW bus scene of which i use to be in. Greed sure knows how to inflate good people out of a hobby. It's a shame.

The ones around here we're used and abused and left to rot in paddocks. when the scrap steel prices were higher a couple of years ago a lot would of been cleared up then so the ones that are coming out now have been cared for

hey, it don't break my heart that they may actually be worth something some day, even in the rough...keep em coming...
less big money come to play as much as less rigs able to be brought back. supply and demand. I'm just glad I got in on the cheap;p

It seems to me that they're much more rare, but command only about half the price of a similar condition 40. You just don't them with ridiculous amounts of money dumped in for incredible restorations, like in 40s. And, I don't believe they will every acquire the "value" of the 40 series. But, who knows? Most people just don't think they're as "cool".
Finally decided against this one http://www.cruizers.com/classifieds.cfm?adID=2455 because I really don't have a place for it to go, or time to work on/use it now. Well, that and I'm kinda cheap. One Cruiser is enough!
New brakes, clutch, headliner, suspension, low mileage F with 4 speed, rebuilt front and rear axles, etc.-what's there not to like other than maybe the paint job? Not stock front seat, but that's an advantage, IMO. A little rust, but not bad. Roof, floors and body mounts look great.
