Howdy gang! The pig is home and painted! Yes I will get photos up asap:)

I need to get a windshield in this puppy though. The local auto glass guy I've used for a long time can cut and install new glass for around $130-150. But I have to source the weatherstripping/rubber.

I know both SOR and Slocruisers sell front windshield rubber. Can you guys please tell me which you prefer/dislike? I REALLY don't want to have to redo this part of the project.

So let me know what y'all think!

Thanks all!

Happy to hear you got your Pig painted. The FJ55 Windshield is curved so not sure if your local glass guy can cut one for you.

I have the SLO cruiser front window seal and it worked very well and is good quality.

I bought the rest of the rubber from RARE SPARES in Austalia. It was all very good quality as well.

The rest of the glass is flat and can be cut. I had my side and rear panels cut from tempered and tinted glass.

That's good to know. Seeing as this Pig never had a windshield, and I've barely seen one on the road ever, I'll have to coordinate with the window guy some more.

The other part of this project that is a sticking point is the window track felts. I know there was a thread where someone used some universal-type stuff and cut-to-fit, but I can't find it. Same with the tailgate rubber. Does that ring any bells?
