Not sure if'n y'all have seen these deals or not ... but I love 'em.

PICO Telescoping Director's Chair - Midnight Blue - Camping World

Ultra portable ... carryin' bag turns into a storage bag on the back of the chair ... easy as hell to fold up and down once you get the hang of it.

I'm 6'4" and 250 lbs. and they're right comfortable.

Smaller chairs means takes up less room in the truck/trailer/UTV bed ...

which means more room for a bigger cooler ...

which means more beer. :grinpimp:

Which I reckon is exactly what proved to be the downfall of the chair. :frown:

After months of regular use ... had a catastrophic failure at the Southern Cruiser Crawl this past weekend. Just sittin' there drinkin' ... not breakin' no rules like leanin' back or floppin' down too hard ... just sittin' there drinkin'. Then ... BOOM! ... on my ass. :o

But never spilt my beer. :grinpimp:

Reckon when they say the weight limit is 250 pounds ... you'd better take it seriously.

I've had the Alps chair now for a coupla years also and it's holdin' up very well.

I went with the Pico to save room in my trail trailer but now I'll be forced to pack the Alps afterall. :meh:
