Planning a couple night outing. I plan on taking my teardrop out and setting up base camp, possibly at the main campsite. I have not ever been to this area and don’t have anything planed right now other than exploring the surrounding area and relaxing next to the river. Open to suggestions from those that do know the area. It’s a ways out so, there is plenty of time to put together a fun weekend with those who are interested.

After looking at the weather it's going to be somewhat in the high 90s if not triple digits that weekend. Due to those facts no one is outfitted to sleep and be in those conditions. Hence we are going to postpone that to a different time and may find someplace else to go to over the weekend
FYI - Recent texting with Ted who is currently camping up in the New York mountains area of Mojave said the daytime temps were in the 80's and decent night time temps. However the place we camp there in 2019 had burned pretty badly not long ago.
