Disappointed I left my camera but it was a beautiful weekend and area for a hike, the colors were just starting to come in with many wild flowers camera phone doesn't do justice. Below is our stats on the hike.

An afternoon snow in the Smokies left about 3 inches, there is probably twice that up on top the MTN makes for some beautiful scenery :)

No unfortunately not Dad just bought him his first DSLR for Christmas the same model I have but he is just learning and is shooting in auto mode until he learns it. Gonna give him a few crash course lessons on it before his 5 month trip to Alaska.

LOL, so true Lenny I had the AC on last night and today it dropped 30 degrees you never really know what your going to wake up to :)
 
that`s a better description than our local weather people have & sure fit the last 24 hours:D
