This video was shot by my daughter sometime last year.
Tonight the kids are sleeping on the couch next to her. We are pretty much counting her hours left. Kidney failure.

That's tough...my heart goes out to you all.

Thanks. She is still here. Not eating or drinking. My wife gives her some subcutaneous fluids 2-3 times a day. Has not urinated in 50 hours.
Unreal how much she can fight through this stuff.

That's rough. Our old boy was also on fluids daily, for over a year. Thank goodness for my sweetheart - she was a lot better at administering fluids than I was. Ultimately he exhibited the same symptoms as yours. Then he had a seizure. We knew then that it was time to say goodbye. He was a wonderful cat.

Yes, she gets a few seizures daily.
Sunday at 7:30PM was the last time she urinated. Daily 2x/day subcutaneous fluids for the past 9 months.
Monday morning at 2:30AM she had her last big meal. She absolutely enjoyed it.
Today, Wednesday, she had not had any food since then. Just a little bit on Monday afternoon, again extremely small amount. Refuses to eat and drink.

We stopped the fluids Tuesday as she is not able to eliminate any of them, since the kidneys are shut down apparently.
Has not really slept since Sunday/Monday night. Extremely short (minutes long) naps since then. Now she can barely stand up.
My wife gives her a few drops of water with a syringe inside her mouth to keep her tongue wet a little.

We offered her some tuna, which she used to devour in the past. Only two licks worth of tuna today. Not bites or gulps, licks.

Breathing has turned for the worst too. Shallow, rapid and wheezing.

Currently resting on our bed where she slept her entire life.

I can't comprehend how strong she is built and how powerful her will is.
Does not cry at all. Just stares at a fixed point most of the time.

My wife and kids are constantly around her and she continues to be the center of our attention. She is on my side of the bed as she liked to sleep next to me from time to time.
