Peeling and flaking sliders - boards on 2021 TRD Pro Sequoia

Hi all - just noticed that the "bedliner" coating on the factory running boards is flaking and peeling off. I live in MA but always do my best to rinse off and clean the undercarriage. Truck only has 35K miles and I boutght it new. Anyone else experiencing this?? It seems like a factory defect.

Nah, everything American-made flakes off in MA. Don't underestimate our salt and daily swings over freezing point for a few months a year. My WARN winch, its fairlead and LEER handle are all peeling off. RCI and Valhalla skid plates peeled off, too, both steel and aluminum. Steel ones I had to strip fully, prep properly and respray with Raptor. Tyger running boards just downright rust, I can't stop it.

2022 TRD PRO, 29k miles, started to flake. The frame looks solid, because I sprayed it with Noxudol 1600 + 700 inside the channels while it was brand new.
