Apparently my AC needs one of its small pipes…anyone know of a source?

here’s the pipe…narrow silver leading into low side looks like…diagnosis so far is that it has a blockage along this front length

That is a coolant pipe not a pipe for the AC system.

This is the part number for # 8 in your Diagram, showing $85 from my local dealer.
#8 is high pressure refrigerant tube that runs runs behind the engine. The pics you posted show a coolant bypass tube that is at the front of the engine. There seems to be some confusion going on here.

Ah ha...wrong part...it was #10 on the diagram posted above and have ordered a new one from Olanthe in Kansas...thanks for all the input
