I need to remove some of the junk from the yard.
The biggest p.o.s. is the 87 FJ60. full of rust. Missing the front hubs, the pedals, and a few sections of sheet metal, that were used to patch up the 4 rnr.
The interior is from an 83 FJ60 and has been dismantled and tossed in the back.
The pro's are; a decent 2F, most of the axles, birfs, and a 4 speed for free.

I would like to keep the transfer case that is in it or trade for a decent late model tranfer.

It needs to go soon. Tonight would be great.;) It is located in Plainfield. You would need to bring a trailer, even the rear tires are shot.

My new job takes me out of state often, and I have not had any time to get it taken care of.

I suppose if there is some interest in the parts I could go pick it up and break it down. I could use The knuckles and hubs. If Phil could use the 2F it'd probably be worth it. I could put the transfer aside or I think I have one on the bench somewhere.

I would like to get some sheet metal off of the body for patch weld but am still up in the air with the fate of the 62. I would like to know just before you scrap it because I could strip the parts if I keep the 62.

Three options.
keep
trade with anthony's CD Previa-need family car
Cash for clunkers-get only 3500 off of sienna.

Decisions with some much to do and so little time!

I'd like to get the back hatch and some scrap sheet metal before it's gone. That way I could work on that hatch (patching and painting) while my current hatch allows me to use the 62. Tell me your deadline because things won't get me free to pull things off till after Sept 4.

worth pulling?

Damn! You still have it! Just my luck!!!!!!

If you don't mind I'll need the clutch slave from it as a safe bet.

I've run into a problem with my swap. I couldn't liberate the bell housing from the old F and transfer it to the 2F. The problem is the bellhousing from the 2F lacks the bolt holes for the bellhousing to frame mounts. I can either look around for the proper bellhousing for a 4 speed or waste a boat load of time fabbing up something. Would you have something like that lying around your magic parts bin? I'll make it worth your while!

I'm pulling it outside today and calling the scrap yard to come pick it up.

I'll grab the slave.

I'm sure I have had 4sp bells in the past, but I doubt I've kept any. They're heavy and take up a lot of room for something that's not worth much.

thanks for posting pics. It's better than mine. do you think it worth working on(patching) ? and worth pulling off?
You should a least pull the tail lenses and side lenses.
Sooner or later somebody gonna bust theirs.

I pulled the upper hatch. I wouldn't drive across Chicagoland for it myself, but its yours if you want it.

I thought about pulling lenses and vents and things, but I have too much other junk laying around already that somebody might need sometime. I can't store it all.
