well i hate to do it but the LC world has successfully torn me away from the mini truck world. i have an 88 4runner build that im trying to get rid of. buy it as a whole and drive it home or ask for parts i dont care. i want thing for my fj60 so if youve got anything to trade ask.
now for the runner, its an 88, with all the 88 originals..unfortunate in some minds. 3vze running strong with the auto tranny. the engine had a new head gasket when i bought it about four years ago. i have since put all new timing on it, all the accessories and the belt. tranmission blew up on the trails haha so i replaced it with the same one with ALOT less miles on it. if i remember right there are roughly 90k miles on the tranny. 215ish on the motor. have a salvage title for it.
the bad
-needs a front drive shaft, i had an inchworm gear adaptor but it tore up after a few trail rides. i had a custom shaft made up but it needs some more clearance (angle grinder)
-needs rear proportional valve replaced (i have a good one in the back seat)
-leans a little to the passenger front, i have a sneaky suspicion that the frame was tweaked before i bought it, but im not for sure on that.
the good and what ive done
-full sas kit front trail gear, not pieced together but the whole kit, including the full cross over steering, and upgraded front brakes.
-front axle has spacers to match the width of the rear axle
-welded rear dif open front
-trail gear front winch bumper
-trail gear rear bumper
-trail gear sliders
its not fancy inside, carpet is gone and bedliner put in. runs good and i daily drive for four years all through college.
pm me for prices theres so much idk what to put on here, but 3200 takes the whole truck.
