Title says it all. I drove this FJ62 home from Brooklyn New York, 122 miles, without incident. Odometer shows 119K miles. Will be parting it as soon as any of the main drive train components are spoken for. Prices for major components:
3FE engine, ran great. Complete with alternator, AC compressor, starter, complete fuel injection system, clutch fan, power steering pump, and exhaust manifold. The check engine light didn't even come on during the ride home. $400
ENGINE HAS BEEN SOLD
Wiring harness complete with ECU $125. Buy it with the engine and the price is reduced to $95. Turn your older land cruiser into a fuel injected beast!!!!! SOLD
Transmission/transfer assembly. Includes shifters for tranny and transfer and also the solenoid and button that controls the 2WD/4WD function. Transfer case has been sold. Tranny worked fine on the drive home, doesn't appear to leak, shifted great no problems that i could tell of, no slipping at all. Transmission with shift linkage, kickdown cable, and torque converter $300
Axles- these are very desirable axles, in fact I put a pair of FJ62 axles under my pig last winter when we sprung her over. These axles are 3" wder than an FJ40 or FJ55 axle and have the best fine spline 4.10 third members. Rear axles have large brakes with self adjusters- no more adjusting brake shoes!!!! They also have a very good parking brake mechanism. Rear axle price $200. Front axle has factory Aisin hubs, the better caliper and rotor setup, and the unique to FJ62 model ventilated (scooped, actually) dust shield/backing plate. I have a receipt that shows the knuckles were resealed awhile back (to the tune of $550!!!). Front axle comes complete with tie rod. Price $300. Take the pair of axles for $450. AXLES HAVE BEEN SOLD
The steering box has been sold.
Four stock chrome wheels with tires decent tread $75 the set (you can have the spare, too).
Interior is gray, instrument cluster complete $40. Console good shape $35SOLD. Master electrical switch from driver door $55SOLD. Steering wheel nice shape $25. Seat belt set (five position, no rear shoulder belts) $70. Windshield or headlight washer reservoir assemblies $30SOLD. Power window regulaters any door $20 each. Digital clock for dash with stopwatch function $20. Front or rear dome light $15 each. Lock set (ignition, both front doors, glovebox, fuel filler, and rear hatch) with key (of course) $75.
Front end is in good shape, fenders actually look pretty decent. Truck is white. Complete front end clip (hood, fenders, rad support, grille, headlight assemblies and inner fender wells) $200. Ask about anything else.

PLease tell me the master electric window switch is in OK condition and thI can buy it for $55 and postage? If so it is mine.
