I try not to make not necessary threads, but I’m asking for help because I don’t know what I’m doing.

I have been trying to source parts for my 3B - I have chosen a vendor.

I need to get part numbers so I can e-mail the vendor what parts I need. Where can I the actual part numbers for the things I need? Is it a FSM manual?

Problem is, all the part numbers I need are for small gaskets. The manual doesn’t seem to have them.

What even is a part number? When I read the cruiser cult FSM it has SST numbers for some things. Any advice is appreciated because I’m getting frustrated and this is my last resource.

why is your vendor requiring you to provide them your needed part numbers ?

that's there job , in-fact they should provide you a black and white parts Microfiche / EPC , electronic parts catalogue image if there NOT sure what you need so they

can then have you simply circle ir RED INK for example the CALL OUT numbers of your needed parts , then it's there JOB to source you the correct part #

your require based on your 17 digit VIN# and or your frame # and Modle ID code ......

ask them these questions i outline above , and report back the response you receive , this will shed light as to if your dealing with a good knowledgeable vendor ,

or your simply wasting your time doing somebody else's job for them ?

i my outfit required my valued clients to provide all there needed part numbers , i would NOT have any clients ............ 🤔

that's the hard core straight talk ........

kindly matt

I agree with @ToyotaMatt
A good company with good customer service should be able to work with you to find what you need.

BUT if you're so inclined to find every part # Toyota has to offer try this link. I use this link as a part number reference only, Ive had bad luck ordering from them but its the information that's valuable here though. Happy hunting.

Do you know all of the gaskets you are looking for?
Can you list them so we can help?

Normally a part number reference looks like this:
1. Customer needs part
2. Customer tells vendor which part they need
3. Vendor looks up part in data base and orders part

Alternatively
1. You need a part
2. You google name of part
3. You uncover part number and/or a source to purchase the part.
Also, SST is a special service tool. Basically, Toyota sells special service tools to dealers and certified shops to perform maintenance.
Special service tools are not always unique, they are often generic tools.

Do you know that you can use Partsouq and Amayama to find part numbers? They even have the parts diagrams to help you! Bro, go look...

an SST is a special shop tool made by the manufacturer.
