Parking Brake Backing Plate Installation - Torque ?

I am doing a complete rebuild of my 97 rear axle. For me, Step-1 is to install two new parking brake, backing plates. I see no reference for these plates in the FSM - other than the simple drawing on BR-20 and even there, they are not identified. These plates each fasten to the axle ends via 4 nuts. I see no discussion whatsoever for the plates so who knows what the torque on those nuts should be?

Am I missing a separate FSM for the brakes?

I think I used 39-ft lbs but honestly I can't remember.

It seems others have been unable to find the specified torque for these nuts, and yes, you used 39. Some others used 70 to 80 ft-lbs. I tend to agree that 39 is closer to what would be needed here.
