This was Mt. Pickett Woodworking's entry into our local parade last week. Sure the springs are a bit tired, but that's a heavy trailer. Behind some doors and a kitchen hutch are 2 of my employees, some of my kids and some of their friends playing poker at an 8' table that we delivered the following day. In my avatar, the engineless 45 is arriving from AZ. on that trailer. Now the horse is finally towing the cart. I'm still in the depths of electrical work, carb issues, you know.... the usual, but it was good to have it out.

because you waited till I was all done before you told me about remflex manifold gaskets...:flipoff2:

LOVE IT :)

not sure if I ever mentioned, you old 45 was used in the Gig Harbor Parade within a few weeks of me getting it, it pulled an old Gig thru down, top off, doors off, window down and in low range(remember 1st or 2nd gear was busted up)

that pic brings back memories :)

i'm out working on it right now. duh..... Saw Bill Yarlott yesterday. He lives in Hawaii now and is 81. He thought the 45 out in the parking lot was his old one... so I guess I did a pretty good job of recreating it. I told him I had to sell his to buy my place back after the big D, and this was the replacement. I'm gonna drive past the ex's place and blaring out Toby Keiths' song..'how do you like me now'.......

Cool Gary. Did you get the idling issues solved?

Really crank it up, so it rattles the walls of her yurt. :D

Sent back the rebuilt SOR non-usa carb and got a New non-usa carb. Made all the difference in the world. The idling problem was mainly from manifold leak but the first SOR carb didn't have any accelerator pump function. So it was actually 2 problems. Now I'm getting into the rear bushings on the front springs. Why didn't I fix those when it was a bare frame from the firewall forward?:crybaby:
