Is there any way to disarm the panic button on the key fob?
Almost every day, the keys jingling in my pocket set off the panic alarm, or at night, usually REALLY late, i toss the keys on the desk, and something hits the panic button, and off goes the alarm. I do like tha lock / unlock feature, so i would like to keep the fob, but can I only disable the panic button?

I would think you could pop open the fob and "deactivate" the panic button.

Go onto Fj cruiser community and check under sterro/electronics there it is at the top.

Not to be a smart elic or anything but have you tried putting a couple pieces of electirical tape over it?

Yes, this is a "customizable parameter" that the dealer can program/change in the ECU via the Intelligent Tester. Information cited per the OE Service Manual.
