More small rust holes that had not yet "broken out" through the paint, but nothing major yet?......

They should be sanding the body all this week. The body parts that were hot tanked were: All 4 doors, hood, tail gate, and fenders. It's fun to see all that perfectly clean metal with no paint , no rust , nothing .

I'll be posting more as it comes available.

I hate to be that guy...if he is so worried about people touching the doors why did he use masking tape on bare metal?????

I don't know. The metal was phosphate?? coated after being hot tanked.

It's ok Heath. Just import some special cleaner from Italy or Iceland or Texas for about 145 dollars pint.

Usually the phophated metal I have seen is either green or black.
You may want to see where he is having coat the metal...theres a place up by Nissan that does it called SEC (Systems Elec. Coating).
They will coat metal just like its done in the car plants.

Rust removal is finished.
Priming finished.
Laying down new paint has started.

I sure hope so... looks like i will have her back in a couple of weeks.
