Im prepping my air cleaner cover for paint. What do you guys think would be best to clean out the carbon and grease deposits on the inside of it. Carb cleaner? Engine degreaser?

You can get it relatively clean with most any cleaner. Then to get all the residue off use brake cleaner. It leaves no residue and works good for all the little corners and crevices.
Keep in mind....if it still has some old paint on it.....the brake cleaner may start to lift or bubble it.....same could be said if you want to use lacquer thinner.

Again- get it powdercoated and get the oem decals from Shane on the forum here. They may chemically clean it first. The reason for this is so the powder adheres.
