Hi guys,
I've got an 88 cruiser that has been well baked in the Texas sun. The paint has been oxidizing.
You can see the oxidation on the light silver pretty well. It can actually be scratched off. Which Is why I am here. The paint and body is fine for the most part, but I'm wondering if I can freshen this up a little bit? Maybe some polishing compound and buffing??? I'm then hoping after I get some of that patina off to be able to wax it up and buff it up really well. I'm not in the position to repaint the truck (money) but I sure have plenty of time (unemployed).
But it looks fine a few feet away.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
