The PO put diamond plating on the 40 and it was the first thing I removed when I got it. Now I want to paint those areas to match the existing sand dune beige color. Is there a way to match without a color code?

depending how long the current paint has been on there it can be tough to get a perfect match even with the paint code.

The best thing to do is take it in to a Napa auto parts and have them go over with you the best possible match........take the rig with you. I am sure you can get it damn close. You also need to consider rather the current paint is base coat clear coat or acrylic enamel. You may want to consider painting the whole panel so you dont have to try to feather edge.

Dune Beige

The PPG number for Dune Beige is 23754. Go to your nearest PPG auto paint supplier if possible and have them match the color on your truck starting with the 23754. It is very difficult to match a color without a good starting point.
