After reading all the posts i could find with the search function regarding paint colors on mud, using CCOT (kind of pointless), and also looking through all the paint chip samples treeroot has uploaded onto root45.com i am now even more confused on the direction i would like to go when the time comes for paint to be applied to my FJ45.
It seems there were several common paint colors that most people on here can agree have the same code but the more obsure colors seem to have conflicting information regarding codes. Further more while the paint chips that have been uploaded to root45.com and found in some threads on mud are good, for me they don't help you visualise what your 40 or 45 will look like with that color applied.
Now i'm not wainting to paint my rig with a period correct color but i am hoping to paint it with a cruiser specific color. So is it possible for people to post a picture of there 40 or 45 with the color that it is painted in and the name of that color and the code?
If people are willing to post up pictures (which i'm hoping) and there is already that color listed in the thread please could you refrain from posting as i'm hoping to get just one of each color so that it may make it easy for myself and others to find colors they like.
