Page loading problem

When I load any page on MUD or visit any link on MUD, the page will load as usual, then 4-5 seconds later will re-load with this: IH8MUD.com - Page Not Found. It happens on about 75% of my page loads.

I use Google Chrome primarily, but it also happens in Explorer and Firefox. MUD is the only site where this happens.

Any ideas?

never happened to me....and that issue has never been reported before either

multiple browser oddities leads me to your ISP or your virus/firewall settings...

Sorry for the double post, I can barely view the site without it happening, so it's tough to search. Same problem as reported here: https://forum.ih8mud.com/ih8mud-com-help-corner/339396-cant-access-80-ech.html.

Turning off virus software helps a bit. Will explore ISP issues next. Thanks for the quick reply.

'might' have just fixed this....discovered an ad banner that was doing funky things...so I dropped the entire ad program

I've been getting a similar error, (right now as well), page loads, then after a few seconds a Google search window loads with a "page not found on mud" type message. This happens at work and home, different OS's, ISP's, etc-.....

Keeps happening, I have to wait until it loads then click "stop" just in time. I've run virus scan and malware scan. See screen cap below.

try clearing your cookies and your cache and such....

and are you running any anti-spyware software? A 'cleaup' with AdAware or Spybot would be a good idea...

looks like you've picked up something from 'doubleclick'....odd that no one else has tho...

I just loaded AVG AntiVirus on both my new desktop and my old laptop....works great, and it's FREE....

I'm still getting an occasional report about this, and haven't been able to duplicate it....anyone??

trying on IE8, FireFox, Chrome, Safari....no dice...
