This 1PZ was removed from my 1992 PZJ75 at ~400,000 km to be rebuilt. To make a long story short, right after the rebuild it cracked a head, then the machine shop I used to machine a replacement head (different shop than the one that did the original machining) made an error on machining the replacement head and none of the valves are sealing so the engine won't get compression and therefore is not running. After all that, I decided to abandon that project and instead do a 1HZ conversion of my truck.
The result is that I have this freshly rebuilt 1PZ full of OEM parts but with a junk head on it. Just trying to recoup a fraction of my investment as I don't have the time or patience to get it running again, but this would be a great option for someone who wants to swap a new head onto this engine or use it to cannibalize all the OEM parts for a 1HZ/1HDT rebuild.
In total I have over $4K in parts + ~$3K in labor (machining, injection pump rebuild, injectors rebuild) into this engine rebuild. I'll provide a full list of the parts that went into the rebuild lower in this post.
1PZ Engine -$3,000 $2,500 OBO (+shipping or local pickup near Pittsburgh, PA)
Note that 24V electrical components (e.g alternator, starter) have been removed from the engine as I swapped them over to the 1HZ I installed. Engine comes as-is.
