Just when I thought to myself, I haven't posted anything in the 80's tech section in a long time... my truck decides to betray me, or at least let me know I haven't been taking care of it.
Well, I've got a mis-fire in cylinder 2. I'm trying to figgure out what it could be and I'm thinking that its a problem with my injectors. I pulled all of the plugs and they all look like the truck is running lean. I've never put anything through the system before (i just threw a can of seafoam in the gas tank) and all the electrical stuff is connected just fine. I'm going to tune up with wires cap yadda yadda as soon as the yota dealership opens tomorrow, but I don't think that is going to change much.
I replaced all 6 plugs and it seems to be running a tad better. By better I mean it idles fine and I can drive it, but as soon as i do anything more then feather the gas the cylinder misfires.
Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
Thanks guys,
Bryan
