Hello all. Getting a P0441 code on 2016 Lancruiser. Checked the gas cap its fine, checked for vacuum on purge flow valve its fine. Next step would be the Charcoal canister but I don't know where it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Above the spare tire. You'll need to drop the spare.

A few clues here:

If it’s not obvious when you look at the canister (hose damage/loose problem) I think I would just replace the gas cap. It’s at least 10 years old and the seal may not be good anymore.

Did the code come on right after filing the tank past the auto shutoff?

Having been through this one, hopefully its not the MK1 connector. Some of those leads are tiny 22ga wire and the connector pins will corrode with moisure. Of course its placed right under the bumper behind the rear wheel where water and road junk gets kicked up on it daily. You can order the cannister side harness, see the part numbers in the thread above. In my case, it was the male side connector, had to cut it off completely and replace it with a new connector and crimped on leads for IIRC 10 wires on the body side. Not much space or wire to work with but solved the issue.

Gas cap is a cheap first step, then you can test the leads for continuity and voltage to the cannister from the cannister connector, then MK1 connector under the bumper. You can get the sumitomo connectors with leads from Ballenger Motorsports for much cheaper that Mr T. Also check purge solenoid on the intake manifold, its easy to test w 12v on the pins. Check the hoses for cracks. Best of luck!
