brass wool wont scratch the glass so thats is what i would use .. steel wool and razor blades will leave marks so be carefull

2nd on the brass wool, it makes the glass look better than original if there was any dulling prior.

Use a BFH. Tap hard to remove paint. Then go to glass shop and order a new windshield.

I've still yet to do anything, letting the wipers rub it off.
Easy fix
that's no trouble as long as it's not on the inside with aftermarket tint. if that's not the case, easy and quick fix is either paint thinner on a rag or double fine or tripple fine steel wool found at any hardware store, and scrub. will not hurt the glass as long as you don't get a course grade of steel wool. do it every day at a body shop.

double oo steel wool. I paint houses for a living, we clean windows with steelwool.
