yeah, cool site. I like some of the battery stuff, although they do promote those solar converters, which I had a rather shyte experience with. customer service was even more awesome than the non functional product.

But, I have to say, this whole "expedition" thing lately kinda makes me laugh...

At what point did camping for a few days become an expedition?

put a roofrack on a 60 paint the rims black and it's an " expedition rig" ....

Now if you're going for weeks on a serious backwoods tour, then yeah sure, but most of the time they're highway road trips...or just camping.

/rant.

the alumacruiser is cool. I saw a big write up about it years ago ( assuming it's the same one) but I haven't seen it in person either.

cheers,

Truck conversation is one of the funniest things i have heard, had to listen to it twice to get it all. Next time we go on an overnighter i will have to get me a roof rack and 4 gas cans and 2 spares and a fridge for my sushi. :steer:

yeah, that's good...

I actually owned a silver 80 for a while...and it had a bike rack:o, but I refused to call it an "expedition rig", even tho I slept in it twice...
even tried to get into that whole, expedition portal thing, but just kept getting the overwhelming pretentious douchebag vibe...

(sushi fridge would be pretty sweet tho...)
