I have a 1994 pickup with a 22r and I was driving home Friday and it stopped shifting into overdrive. The od light is not blinking. I can still push the button to turn it on and off but nothing happens. It goes through the other gears just fine. Does anyone know what's wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm only familiar with a 1985 electronic auto with overdrive. Do you have a FSM that includes your transmission, often that problem is caused my the trans temp sensor. Just because it's not blinking doesn't mean that it will not show up as a code. Do you you now to check your system.

My 85 is different than even an 86, 85 was the first year they used those types of transmissions. You need to locate a Factory Shop Manual there are links to them on this web site. On the 85's there is a one wire square plug under the hood on the drivers side, you ground that turn off all accessories and turn the key too ignition on but don't start and the overdrive light will blink. You would need to know the codes for your year of truck. search this website or wait for more replies

Check for codes. There's solenoids in the A340H tranny's. I have one in my pickup.
